1. Look at your wheel well, remove all screws and the two plastic pin-screws from the about 5cm x 25cm plastic peace in the wheel well (quite visible). do this on both sides. Then remove the lower front grille (rip it out after removing two small screws going horizontally inwards from about the middle). After that, remove the two bolts holding down the airbag sensor tubes. these are located behind the lower front grille. Then use a screwdriver to bend the upper corners outwards while pulling the bumper forwards. Repeat on the other side. This has been tested on a 1995mod A4. I cannot guarantee that its the same on the 1996.
Headlight washers.
In the most ridiculous spot going. Its in the front where the timing belt and rollers are. You need to take off the front bumper and remove the radiator to get at it. PITA to do.
No, they do not have the same chassis.
on the A4's, they are typically under the front bumper cover closer to the drivers side.
Possibly behind the front bumper in the middle, in front of the radiator. That is where the VW passat one is and they are nearly identical cars. Hope this helps.
its on either side of the front arm inside the bumper. Its a pain.

This is an extremely difficult fix. If you must know, you have to remove the front bumper and radiator. It is on the left side when you are facing the car.
Audi Front was created in 1933.
The horn itself (actually two horns) are located in the front of the car just behind the bumper cover and grill. I had to relocate them slightly when I installed a Front Mount Intercooler.
Yes is in 1996
They are headlight washers. When the headlghts are on pull the windshield washer switch. It activates both windshield and headlight washers.
