get a book..............auto repair manual.........book.
it is an external pump that is run by the timing chain... right by the oil filter...
Have your Torque Converter/ Lockout Swith checked. I would also be worth it to have cam timing sensor checked. I had this exact problem on my 01 Aurora V8. Replaced sensor. Haven't had a problem since.
Due to timing sensors, they are on the camshaft or the crankshaft, can't remember which. Dealer repair about $500, make sure ALL the sensors are replaced, car will run beautifully.
This is most likely caused by the timing sensors on the camshaft or crankshaft, I can't remember which. Dealer repair = a little under $500. Make sure they replace ALL the sensors. The car will start and run perfectly.
Follow the timing marks
How do you install a timing belt on a 1993 Toyota Camry that has a 2.2 liter engine
how do i install the timing pins on a875 bob cat skid loader to replace the timing belt
It would be best if you let a pro install it as every crank has to be lined up for proper timing.
