You can take a STNA course in the community college of Ohio. They can offer the classes that are needed in order to get your certification at a reasonable price.
The American Red Cross on Euclid Ave offers STNA training in Cleveland, Ohio. Med-Cert in Bedford offers STNA, Home Health Aide, CPR, and First Aid classes. Day, evening, and weekend classes are available. Classes from 2 to 6 weeks.

However, I don't plan on being an STNA for the rest of my life. It is the perfect job for someone going into an allied health profession. The experience alone is worth more to me than the wage. If you love helping people, are hard working, and need experience in the health field while going to school, then this is the job for you.
There aren't many requirements for STNA classes in Ohio. They usually just require a high school diploma or equivalent.
You will have to try some of the community colleges in Cleveland area that may offer free stna training.

I know that still seems like a lot of money, but what caught my eye is that they offer a payment plan. Maybe monthly payments would be more affordable for you?
