They cost arround 1000-2500 pounds
Anything from buying it at a market for a few hundred pounds to a 7 grand horse from a private owner. Like most other horses, it depends where you are buying it from, how old it is, it's experience, manageability etc.
There are some horses going for free, wild mustangs selling for $125, or at the other end, champion racehorses worth millions. You typical horse will be in the thousands, about $1000-$5000 depending on health, training, breeding, even color.
Roughly 2,200 pounds The car or the horse?
from 1,000 pounds up to 10,000 pounds
It should cost roughly 200,000 pounds per year for a race horse, maybe 12,000 for a normal horse, this includes first class stables food and training (for race horse).
Horses and ponies are hugely expensive to keep. Not only does it cost anywhere between a few hundred to hundreds of thousands of pounds to buy a horse (depending on how well bred they are and etc) but they need to be stabled, fed, bedded down (straw/paper shreds/woodshavings), shod (horseshoes put on/feet trimmed), vaccinated, wormed, have the dentist come, and so much more. Averaging it up, i'd say I pay about 300 uk pounds a month for my horse and we keep everything at a minimun if possible. But remember, if something goes wrong with its health, it'll cost you thousands of pounds and not only that, but they take up a huge amount of your time, too! You can get more exact information on prices for keeping a horse on the british horse society website. :)
