yeah please help! my iPod will no longer charge when i plug it in (either to the computer or outlet) so it's too late to back it up on the computer. i was just wondering if there is an app for your ipod so you could do it on there. Please answer as soon as possible, i don't want to loose all my songs, videos, pictures, etc. (and if there is not an app, is there any other way i would be able to do this?)
you can transfer songs from your ipod to your computer it is true
you have to make sure that your ipod is hooked up to the computer to download music.
Plug in your iPod into the USB Port on your computer, When a Pop-up shows up. Click Sync Or transfer music from ipod to iTunes with an ipod transfer program.
What you are doing is 'syncing', and every time you sync your iPod, it will back it up. If you do not want to back up your iPod, highlight the music from your library that you want to put on the iPod and just drag it onto the iPod Touch menu.
You go to your iPod section on iTunes after you hook up your ipod, and check the box that says "automatically sync songs to iPod when hooked up"
when the music is in my computer got to itunes click on File Add Folder to library Find the correct file and click open synchronise your ipod and the music will turn up
Did you try syncing the ipod?
There are several ways in order for one to backup the music stored on one's iPod. However, one of the easy way is installing Syncios, Connecting the iPod, Choosing iPod music files, and then backup iPod music.
If you lose your music after jailbreaking your iPod, first ensure that you have a backup of your music library on iTunes. Connect your iPod to your computer, open iTunes, and select your device. From there, you can choose to sync your music library back to your iPod. If the music is still missing, consider restoring your iPod from the backup you created prior to the jailbreak.
you go to the file with your IPod name and if you scroll down it will have some choices you want your IPod to do under 'Backup' and you can click 'Back up this computer' off by clicking the circle with the dot in the middle and it won't do it anymore.
When your iPod says "synchronizing," it means that the device is transferring data between itself and a connected computer, usually via iTunes or Finder. This process typically involves updating music, videos, playlists, and other content, ensuring that what's on the iPod matches what is stored on the computer. Synchronization can also include backing up settings and data from the iPod to the computer.
Backing up your iOS device basically putts all your data From your iOS device on your computer. This is great when you want to migrate data from 1 old iOS device to a new one.
