The Batavia Leader was a model of shotgun made by the Baker Gun Co in New York from c.1903-1933. They were good quality shotguns in their day and high-condition original specimens are becoming moderately collectable.
unknown.
If the shotgun is a hammerless double, it is a Baker Model produced in 1899 (per Dixie Gun Works, Ithaca Serialization Guide) That serial should be a 1926 production NID. sales@countrygunsmith.net

Yes it was bought in the 1970's by Baker furniture. Has the same old quality as old Baker. Very high end stuff back in the day.
Depends on condition, and collector buying.
