It is refered to as this because neither side intended to have even a small battle there it was purely accidental.

Antietiem was the single bloodiest day not only in the civil war but in US military history with over 23,000 lost. However the Bloodiest two day battle was the Battle of Chickamauga with a total of 34,700. And of course the bloodiest battle of the Civil war was Gettysburg with 51,000 over 3 days -Chris.

Up the top centre of the screen it should have battle
Earn battle points(BP) by competing in the; Battle Tower, Battle Dome, Battle Palace, Battle Arena, Battle Factory, Battle Pike, or Battle Pyramid. Once you have earned enough BP then you can visit a house that is all the way to the right of Battle Frontier. It should be north of the Battle Factory. Then talk to either of the old ladies and they will teach your Pokemon moves in return of BP's.
Well, both. First, cities were very small hamlets back then compared to today. Also, most battles were in fields and surrounding farmlands-- most of the US, even in cities, mostly consisted of farm lands and woodlands. The Battle of Gettysburg was more "near Gettysburg" than inside the town. The battlegrounds is a very interesting place to visit, even though it should be considered a sacred place because of how many men died on the land/the battlefield.
1066 equals Year of Battle of Hastings (Though the battle actually took place just outside Hastings in the area now know as Battle - so it should really be the Battle of Battle!)
There should be a lot of crates lying around with battle rifles in them'
To get fans, battle your friends, and if you beat your friend in a battle. you should get fans

It should never have happened because Gettysburg had no significant strategic value and neither side ever intended to have a battle there. Both sides had small scouting parties searching for food that happened to meet in the town. The rest is history.
