They can eat most veg (notanything hard though, like potato, or carrot) and lettuce, but NOT iceberg lettuce. They will also eat fruit. But the best food is crickets, or locusts. The locusts are nicer for the beardie, and they don't look so gross. Also meal worms and wax worms.
Crickets/locusts (depending on the size) and a fresh salad with NO iceberg lettuce.
The salad should include Kale, Alfalfa, Dandelion etc and it should be dusted with a vitamin supplement.
Jueveniles need 80 percent protein (crickets, baby dubia roaches) and 20 percent greens. If it says lettuce, it has NO nutritional value. Collard greens, turnip greens, baby arugula are all good. Squash is a good staple with the greens as well. Adults get the opposite. Make sure they do not eat anything bigger then the space between their eyes. They need to be put in warm water up to their shoulder a couple times a week for hydration since they take the water in through their vent.

The diet plan of a bearded dragon consists of between 25 and 50 insects per week such as crickets and worms and salad using a variety of greens, vegetables and fruits.
Nope. The only way to get a Bearded Dragon to show it's best and brightest colors is by providing correct care.
yes as i own a bearded dragon and give him cabbage, broccoli and CELERY so yes bearded dragons do eat celery
By eyesight. Their primary diet is small insects - the detect the movement of insects that get close enough for them to catch.
If the bearded dragon is an adult it should probably eat large pinkies. But if it is a young bearded dragon it should probably eat small or medium pinkies...Im 13 years old and my science teacher has 2 bearded dragon and i dont know alot about them but they can eat pinkies that are at least as big as his or her head...
A bearded dragon can eat caterpillars, but you never want to feed your pet of any kind something wild, that you caught.
Yes. Crickets are a main staple in a Beardie's diet. Google, "Bearded Dragon Caresheet", it will tell you all the information you need. I would read at LEAST five or six care sheets before doing anything, though.
NO ! Like any animal - they need a balanced diet - including a variety of vegetable matter and protein (in the form of live insects !)
The diet should consist of proteins (such as crickets, mealworms, superworms, and waxmoth larvae) and vegetables/fruits (peas, carrots, Boston lettuce, strawberries etc.)
Nope - so long as you don't feed too many ! One a month is an adequate addition to their normal diet.
Mice are NOT part of their natural diet ! They feed on small insects (crickets, small locusts, wax worms etc) and green, leafy vegetables !
