The master cylinder should be bench-bled prior to installation. Then, right rear, left rear, right front, left front.
The clutch master cylinder on a Chevy S10 is replaced by disconnecting the metal lines, unscrewing the retaining bolts, and removing it from the housing. A new master cylinder can then be put into place and reattached.
If it's not a new one, you should be able to get all the air out by bleeding all four corners beginning with the one furthest from the master cylinder. In other words, RR, LR,RF,LF A new master cylinder comes with instructions for bench bleeding before installation, but it doesn't sound like that is what you're asking about.
To bench bleed the new master, install and bleed system should take aprox one hour, assuming all the bleeders work.

Answer did ya' bleed 'em? there may be air in the lines. Be sure the new master matches the old master exactly and bench bleed the master before you install it.
