"Best" is a subjective answer, but based upon my experience with using Cobra slash-cut pipes on my '07 VLX, I'd say they're definitely among the best. They offer a sound that makes the VLX sound bigger than the 600cc bike it is, and they reduce the "buzziness" of the stock exhaust that is such a heavy contributor to the bike's inherent vibration.
motul is one of the best synthetics on the market imho I use it in my shadow 750
Vance & Hines Straight Shots. Look great and sound great.
"The Best" is a matter of personal preference, but I'm very happy with the performance of Cobra Slash-cut pipes on my '07 VLX. I found the factory exhaust to be a factor in the VLX's inherent vibration tendencies, something that was lessened by the switch to the aftermarket exhaust. Keep in mind that such aftermarket pipes do make the bike louder. This is not a real complaint amongst enthusiasts, but state and local laws can come into play when altering the bike's exhaust.
Copper pipes will last the longest. anonymous@oola.com
Shadow!
shadow is the 2nd best character so frankly he's not the best character.
highland pipes
The best shadow moves are: shadow end(120/100), shadow storm(95/100), shadow rush (90/100) and shadow blast(80/100). All the other shadow moves are under 75/100.
You can get good eye shadow at claires or you can just shop around at the mall

The best way to clean out the inside of your custom motorcycle straight pipes is to remove the pipes and use a cleaning solvent and a rag with a long handled brush.
