From what I have heard, only the French Foreign Legion is tougher to get out of than the US Marine Corps, which is why anyone should think carefully before enlisting. There are several things that you could try, but you will only find that the Marine Corps has already dealt with them many times in the past, and they have safeguards against them. If getting out of the USMC is that important to you, perhaps a lawyer can explain your chances and options.
If you are having problems in the Corps that seem overwhelming consider speaking to the Chaplain who is an expert at guidance and counseling. Consider a letter to your old DI. You respected his advice when you were a Boot or you would never have become a Marine. Another alternative route is via the Inspector General. All you need to do is request mast.
The most important advise would be to make certain you don't mess up your complete life on the way out the door. Good Luck and Semper Fi.
