Believe the year of the bike is contained in the serial number on the under side of the crank case. On other older brands its normally the last 2 digits that tell the year produced. Example 58=1958
If it has amber reflectors in the pedals it is from the 70's. If it's a girl's bike it is worth about $25. - boy's bike approximately $40.

Fairway Flyers were built in the late 70's early 80's. I have a 1978 mens 3 speed. Mine has a sticker on the seat tube just above the crank bracket. It tells the year and where it was made. Mine was built by Murray in Lawrenceburg, TN.
i do believe that the faster flyer is Latios. He has the speed of a jet.
