Remove blower motor 97 GMC jimmy
where is blower motor resister located on 2001 GMC Yukon
Remove the wiring harness from the back of the blower motor in your 1993 GMC 1500. Remove the blower motor retaining bolts. If the new blower motor does not have the fan attached to and you will need to remove the fan from the old blower motor. Reverse the process to install the new blower motor.
Under the hood on the passengers side near the blower motor attached to the housing......... I'm pretty sure that's where the "Relay" is located not "Resistor". The resistor may be located under or behind the glovebox.
Passenger floorboard
blower motor for 1998 gmc sierra 4x4 is located on the passsenger side, under the dash, you will need to remove the glove compartment door for easier accessand to remove blower motor cover.
It is usually under the dash on the passenger side right next to the blower motor. On some, it is mounted on the same bracket as the blower motor.
It can also be a blown fuse, or a defective blower motor resistor pack.
BLOWER MOTOR RESITAR SWITCH
no you don't have to its actually like just the hoses and the blower is under the dash
Depends on what you mean by heater will not work. If the blower motor will not work, it can be a blown fuse, bad blower motor, bad blower motor switch, or a defective blower motor resistor pack. If you mean that the blower motor works but there is no heat, then it can be a clogged heater core, thermostat stuck open, or defective heater control valve.
Blower motor bad. Blower resistor bad. Switch bad. Fuse blown.
Check at the blower motor itself. Have it turned on and tap the end of the blower motor with a hammer. I did this and found out that the blower motor was going out. The blower motor is on the top passenger side under the hood. Also check the wire connections. Make sure they are seated good. If this includes for the heater then I would say the blower motor is bad.
