It's the ignition switch. Replace it. All will be well.
Check your fuse box for a blown fuse and also check your connections at the blower motor.
If you have no heat in your 02 grand Cherokee limited blower works heater lines are hot good circulation just no heat comes out?Maybe blocked heater core. Also check thermostat.Your problem is with the blend doors in the GC. Check the HeaterTreater eBay listings for diagnostic information and a fix.
Sounds like it could be resistor pack at blower motor or low speed fan relay
i have an 03 grand prix and yes it was the blower motor resistor also check there is a fuse for fan low and fan high or something like that
The fact that you are having blower motor AND headlight problems points to ignition switch failure. Power to both systems comes from the ignition switch and this is a common Grand Prix problem. Here's the fix: http://www.clubgp.com/newforum/tm.asp?m=20670
Normally when a heater blower motor only works on the High setting, it is caused by a defective Blower Motor Resistor Pack. The fix is to, Replace it. In very rare instances it can also be a defective blower motor speed control switch, but rarely.
Just an added update.., all fuses seem to be good with clean connectors. Also the signal lights quit too..
If a Jeep Grand Cherokee's air conditioner is not blowing any air it could mean that the blower motor has went out. Also the AC controls could be bad.
SOUNDS LIKE A BLOWN FUSE DOES YOUR TAIL LIGHTS STILL WORK? 99.9 % THE TAIL LIGHTS ARE ON THE SAME CIRCUT AS THE matker LIGHTS -TAIL LIGHTS
Check the fuse for parking/tailights (dash lights also on this circuit)
Does blower operate at all? If not it could be blower motor, fuse/fusible link, faulty switch, blower resistor pack...sorry not enough info for much more help than that (model, year, just heat not working...or a/c also?)
If you have a Carquest auto supplier nearby, part #209283 (Blower motor w/wheel) and check the resister (if you only have high speed) also. Approx $200.00
