Does blower operate at all? If not it could be blower motor, fuse/fusible link, faulty switch, blower resistor pack...sorry not enough info for much more help than that (model, year, just heat not working...or a/c also?)
have you checked your fuse? If it won't blow out the air it could be your blower motor.
hi, did you faind an answer, i'm having the same problem, Cheers
somtimes a mouse moves into the blower motor and makes a nest ?
replace front heater corefront and rear have independent heater cores
Switch problem? Cables disconnected?
It could need freon. and you can do it most auto part stores carry it so does walmart
First find out if the blower works. To do this disconnect the hot wire from the blower and use a jumper wire from the positive of the battery and connect it to where that hot wire was. if it does not go;;; then check that the blower motor is grounded.
If it does not blow at all then that is a problem, but if it is when you first start it, the Caddy will not blow air on you until it is the selected temp.
Likely heater core. I had same problem with 1996 S-10 with 4.3L.
heater core could be rusty and old or line to heater core could be plogged most likely old heater core
the heater core could be clogged with rust or stop leak . or u don't have enough hot water flow through the heater core . under the hood on most cars on the heater hose is a off/ on valve to control the flow of hot water...anti-freeze...to the heater core.....R
you would have to see a mechanic about that problem
