Pretty vague question there. You may just need a new head gasket, or you might need a new cylinder head if you've warped the old one.
It can cost between $30 and $100+ to replace a blown head gasket. It will depend on where the person buys the part and if a shop does the change out or not.
To replace a blown head gasket on a 1998 Chevy Lumina, it would cost between $18 and $174. This depends on the brand part and any labor costs.
No, it won't be "weaker", but you need to weigh the price against the value of the vehicle.
The head must be removed and resurfaced. A blown headgasket is, for all practical purposes, ALWAYS the result of a warped head. A machine shop can resurface the head then a new headgasket can be used when the head is replaced. Unfortunately there are plenty of other pieces that must be removed/replaced as a part of the process. If you want to do it yourself you might want to have an experienced helper to show you how.
Your right hand side park light (generally part of the head lamp assembly) is blown and needs replacing

Moisture is getting into the oil pan. If you are loosing coolant with no apparent leak then you may have a blown head gasket.
A blown head gasket cannot be fixed. The head must be removed and the meeting block and head sufaces must be inspected and checked for flatness and cracks. If OK A new gasket must be installed and torqued to factory specifications.I have been buying cars and vans that have blown head gaskets for myself at a reduced cost and I have had great success repairing them without disassembling the engine. Its very simple to use and is a permanent repair. It costs 20.00 and its added to the radiator. It mixes with antifreeze and does work if you follow the simple directions. My cousin has a garage and has been using this stuff. Its very hard to find and is not found in part store's if you want any email me kerisvery@aol.comSealed up a blown head gasket and cracked block. Thanks Carl Shilanskis1995 corsica 3.1 with a blown head gasket, 3k miles and so far so good. On a 4 cylinder it is on the end of the cylinder head. On a 6 cylinder it is part of the distributor.

You can change the bulb by taking the backside of the light assembly off first! The bulb connector just pulls out and snaps back in place its not that hard I had to do it on my 1997 sebring it was simple. The small bulb can be bought at Pep Boys or any parts store at a low price. Have parts dealer look up part for you. The front head light glass doesn't need to come off at all.
