Sounds like the sliders are frozen, u may be able to get them apart, if u can try and clean them and put fresh hi temp disc break grease, if there really bad i would replace them.
back wheels.
Its got disc brakes in the front, therefor brake pads and its got drum brakes in the back, therefor brake shoes
You still have air in the back brake lines or they are not adjusted properly which is making the front brakes take the full load
brake pads can either be on the front or rear of a car... it all depends on if it has disc or drum brakes on the rear... drum brakes have shoes not pads
You would push down on both the front brake and the back brake. You would want to put a little more pressure on the back brake and slowly add pressure to the front brake. If you slam on the front brakes there is a possibility that you will fly over the handle bars. I know from experience and it is not fun. I hope this helped.
Yes, a Fiat Punto has disc brakes at the front and these have pads. The drum brakes at the back have shoes.
First of all, Do you have any specialty brake tools? Ben
No , disk brakes front and rear ( the back disk brake rotors have small parking brake shoes inside of a drum portion )
Yes , on the back wheels ( disc brakes on the front )
no, just the wheels the brakes apply to, usually the front brakes
Unless its already too late, the opposite side brakes are almost exactly the same. The only difference is that the front side of one brake is the same as the front side of the opposite brake. That is, front is front, back is back, what you see on the left of one brake set will be on the right of the opposite set.
the lastest models usually have abs brakes but old models do not but you can go to mechanic and put brakes where you want
