Not sure what brake pedal slip is, please try again and explain.
If you are referring to brake fade then the reason is that some brake pads are more susceptible to fade that others when they get hot. You may even experience the boiling of the brake fluid. In all cases it is caused by continual high speed braking. Brake fluid contaminated with moisture makes the condition even worse. Replace all your brake fluid with clean fresh fluid from an unopened container. Brake pads have a temperture at which they become ineffective. Replace your pads with high performance pads if you are doing some high speed braking. You may also need to change rotors to a racing type rotor.
In general flip flops are safe to wear while driving. However they can become a danger if they slip off and get wedged under the gas pedal or brake pedal. Wearing them while driving is not recommended.
I had the same problem with a 1992 4 runner, i though it was the clutch kit, so i replaced it, but when i was done installing the tranny back on i realized that it was the clutch pedal, so check the pedal's height it should be the same as the brake pedal, if its lower check the bracket where the brake and clutch pedal are attached it might be broken, that might be your problem
If you do a search for the Camaro brake switch, you'll see that the switch has a main case and a shaft. The shaft appears to be threaded, but instead they are tension slip rings. At the end of the shaft is the switch button. The shaft slides through the brake pedal mount, which has a tension ring to hold the switch in place. Slide the shaft so that the switch button is completely compressed against the upper brake pedal plate. In operation, when the brake pedal is pressed, the upper plate moves away from the switch button, releasing it and allowing the internal contact to make the circuit engage, and the brake lights illuminate. For Camaros with the 'third-eye' brake light, a second brake switch is located next to the main switch.
not with jb weld in any amount or super glue YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THE INTIRE PEDAL ITS A TIGHT JOP EASY IF YOU HAVE SMALL HANDS TAKE OFF THE PANEL UNDER THE STEERING WHEEL YOUR PEDAL LINKAGE HAS 2 SCREEWS 10MM REMOVE THEM NOW YOU CAN TWIST THE LINKAGE TO THE SIDE REACH UP TO THE TOP OF THE PEDAL TRY TO PUSH THE CABLE OFF WITH YOUR THUMB IT MAY BE EASYER IT YOU UNHOOK THE THROTTLE CABLE FROM YOUR MOTOR SLIP IN THE NEW PEDAL YOUR DONE ABOUT 30 MIN JOB
Because it is anti lock
STAND ON the brakes and turn off the engine. Steer safely out of traffic, safely park, and check your gas pedal for floor mat interference. It would be better to slip the transmission into neutral, gently brake and pull off to the break down lane when it is safe to do so, then when you have come to a stop shut off the engine.
The symptoms described suggest that the tension of the belt driving the power steering pump is weak, and allowing the belt to intermmitently slip during the increased loads imposed during the turn.
how do you get the limited-slip rear end on a 1990 Chevy blazer k-5 apart
When it's worn out. When it's badly adjusted. When you keep your foot lightly on the clutch pedal.
ASR, (Acceleration Slip Regulation)
You need brake fluid
It could mean that the brake pads need to be changed.
