theres a pressure switch just above brake pedal under the dash probably bad
Check the brake light switch down on the brake pedal.
Is your parking brake on?

The brake light switch is broken or out of adjustment. The brake light switch is attached to the brake pedal lever above the brake pedal pad.
Your brake lights are actuated by a switch that is connected to the brake pedal or to the hydraulics. It's sticking in the closed position. Just follow the pedal down until you see the wire.
The friction assembly that holds the pedal down is broken. Replacement of the complete e-brake pedal assembly is required. Your local Chevy dealer can get you that part for aprox $70 or you can try getting a used part from a salvage yard.
it wont just come out. you need to pump the brake pedal.

You must have air in the system. Get your brakes checked ASAP !
Change the brake switch located where the brake pedal is, a little above. Done!
