Brave New World

Brave New World is a dystopian novel by the English Writer Aldous Huxley, published in 1932.

The title is a quotation from the play The Tempest by William Shakespeare.

Prospero's daughter, Miranda, has lived on an island with her father all of her life and has never met anyone else.

When she encounters the new arrivals to the island she says,

O wonder!

How many goodly creatures are there here!

How beauteous mankind is!

O brave new world

That hath such people in't!
