try a coping saw blade..slide it in next to the key and then turn it so that the teeth grab onto the remains of the key, slowly pull it out. Good luck!

The actual switch is located on top of the steering column, like most cars. You have to drop the steering coumn down to access the switch.

no GM uses an oil pressure shutoff switch tied in the fuel pump circut so if you do not have oil pressure then the car will not start
