The BSA Silverstar air rifle DOES exist, but is fairly rarely encountered. BSA came out with it just before they merged with Gamo, a spanish airgun company, around 1986. After the merger, BSA stopped production, and Gamo began producing the CFX, a rifle identical in design and function, but of lesser quality and aesthetics(synthetic stock, cheaper finish, etc.). Estimates of BSA production numbers in recreational air gun circles range from less than 1,000 guns made to as low as a few hundred.
Contact BSA directly if you need more information. Silverstar info. in the public domain is hard to come by, and a bit sketchy at best.

It depends on what type of silver you are looking for. You need to have enough money to buy it. If you are looking for silver bullion or bars then you can go to websites that sell it, such as JM Bullion, but there are other sites out there as well. If you are looking for elemental silver to do a project with your best bet would be to go to a website that sells chemical product such as Flinn Scientific. This website should be safe and secure as it is what professors and teachers use to order products. Again, there are other websites that exist, but those are just a couple different sources for you.
