I don't know of any specific traditions that don't cut hair. Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche was a non-sectarian Tibetan Buddhist who did not cut his hair. Some Buddhist hermits do not bother to continue cutting there hair. True Zen I guess.
No. technical the hair doesnt have a root. but no they cut it at the scalp.
Some Buddhist monks shave their heads. This is the stereotype Buddhist hairdo. Most Buddhists are not monks and wear their hair like anyone else in their local culture.
It doesnt hurt when you cut your hair because your hair hasn't any nerve cells so you don't feel anything.

Yes, Sikhism
Because it doesnt have millions of microscopic sensors that you have in your skin.
no, why would a Sikh cut their hair if they saw Muslim blood, it doesnt make any sense
Unfortunately no, Sikhs cannot cut their hair because sikhs is a religion type of thing that a person believe in growing out their hair and not cutting it.
Certain denominations, not religions, of the Christian church teach that a woman should not cut her hair, for instance many "Holiness" Pentecostal churches do not believe in a woman cutting her hair. But I don't know of any entire religion that teaches this, only some denominations in the Christian religion. Also, within Christianity, Mennonites and some Independent Baptists do not cut a woman's hair. This is because of an interpretation of 1 Corinthians 11.
use a nit comb. or if the nit comb doesnt work maybe choose 2 cut the hair shorter.
A person with Really long hair who has a religion that they should never cut it or dye it. They should never do anything unnatural to their hair.
