Well, if you have the same problem mine has, it's the steering mechanism. The CV joints, the tie-rods, etc.... Or it could be a simpler problem like the tires being out of balance. But I would check the steering no matter what.
Check the Phazer's.
In a 1990 Buick Skylark, you can turn on the high beams by pulling the headlight switch lever located on the left side of the steering column towards you. This lever also controls the low beams when pushed back. Additionally, you can flash the high beams by quickly pulling and releasing the lever. Make sure to check that your headlights are set to the "on" position before activating the high beams.
Normally this is caused by a broken synchronizer.
It might be a MAP sensor, EGR valve or something like that. Maybe a vacuum leak.

Connect a freon gauge and tank to the low side ac port. Start the engine and turn ac on high. Open the valve and let the freon flow until the system shows full.
most likely cause is that it has non-condensables in it, probably water vapor from a leak on the low side next most likely is that the condensor (radiator) is clogged up with bugs or else the fan isn't working next would be that someone has put an alternate refrigerant in it
The timing gear in a 1989 Buick Park Avenue with the 3800 engine is made of nylon. This design was intended to reduce noise and wear, but it can be prone to degradation over time. It's important to inspect and potentially replace it if you're experiencing timing issues or if the vehicle has high mileage.
You might have crossed your plug wires. Double check from the distributor, which usually has the firing numbers stamped on it. This can harm your engine running it at high speeds.
The gear with the more number of teeth is bigger.
I owned this car is high school and the most I ever got per mile was 12 miles per gallon. City driving netted around 8 miles per gallon at best. This is not the best car if you are trying to conserve on gas.
