As thickeners and rheology modifiers but they are also used in resin production as a stabilizer. The resin is then used as the binder in the paint.
Depending on the level of heat, the can could explode. The propellant could catch fire. It does vary according to the can. For example, aerosol whipped cream, with the propellant Nitrous Oxide, will just burst dangerously and noisily and cover everything with whipped cream. It is unlikely to catch fire. Paint, butane and lighter fluid are extremely dangerous to expose to heat. DO NOT EXPERIMENT WITH THIS!!!!!!!!!!

Oil based paint is best removed with mineral oil or heavy cream like a cold cream. Do not use paint thinner on your skin, it is way too harsh. For latex paint, use soap and water, if the paint is dried use hand cream of baby oil.
It could depending how dry the paint is. If it is weeks dry, it shouldnt b a problm. But if its fresh, it will destroy the paint and the ice cream. Lol c wat i did there?
