You must have been dead ten years to be pictured on a US stamp. Congress waives that for a former President.
Judicial release is releasing something early by a judge. If someone is in jail for 5 years and is let out for good behavior this is called judicial release.
The Stamp Act (1765) was a law passed by Britain to tax ALL paper products. (Ex: Legalized documents, playing cards, almanacs, pamphlets, etc. etc.)Basically, all colonists who bought a paper product would have to buy a stamp, which is like a tax.It was issued to help pay off the huge debt Britain owed from the French & Indian War. (Seven Years War)Of course, everyone hated it, especially printers. So, they formed groups called Sons of Liberty in Boston (And other places) and rebelled, plus lots of rioting broke out.

6 years because the Stamp Act started in 1765 and the First Continental Congress was in 1774.
This is Scott #1897. This stamp is not from 1880s, that is when the omnibus that is pictured is from. It was issued 100 years later in the 1980's and has a minimal value and can be purchased for 15 cents. A dealer isn't going to want to purchase just one.
