Neither can we.
i cant find a picture of a hermit crab INSIDE a egg but i posted a picture of hermit crab mother with her eggs
Put out a fave hide away spot and leave the house and this may work.
No the female hermit crab flings the eggs into the ocean and when they hatch they swim with plancton. And then they find a shells and once they on shore, they cant breath underwater anymore.
It depends on the kind of hermit crab. if you find it at the beach it most likely needs water but if you find a land hermit crab they won't be able to breath under water, but land hermit crabs still enjoy being a little wet.
* It's best to buy a hermit crab with a natural shell rather than a painted one if possible. The paint from hermit crab shells often flakes off over time and can be eaten by the crab. The paint flakes can also find their way inside the shell and can irritate the crab's skin. Some crabs have even had paint flakes puncture their skin. * Before a hermit crab is brought home, all of the necessary hermit crab care items should also be bought if the pet owner doesn't already have them. These include several hermit crab shells of various sizes, a sponge for his water, hermit crab food and a large enough cage to house the crab and all of his supplies. == == anymore questions?? contact me at bubbliciousbridgette@yahoo.com

Normally the hermit crab is the only one kept as a pet.
If your hermit crab hasn't found his shell you should give him a little bit of time to find it. It is important to not force him into his shell as he may become ill trying to find it.

Hermit crabs find their food 2 ways by seeing another crab eating it or just by smelling it. I know this because I have 2 hermit crabs myself.
I wouldn't. Just feed them regular hermit crab food you find at a pet store.
