read your owners manual. 3.8 & 4.0 liter engines have a sealed transmission. Only a dealer can check or change your Transmission Fluid. It's a crock, but it's the case.

However... you SHOULD have the transmission serviced according to the maintenance schedule in the owners manual. When the transmission is serviced, the fluid is drained, the filter is replaced and the transmission is filled UP TO an overflow hole on the side of the transmission. But there is no transmission dipstick.
