Yes, 10w30 can be safely used in that engine. The only thing you will want to watch is when it gets colder, like below freezing, if that happens in your area. However, there is no real benefit to running 10w30 instead of 5w30. The only difference between the oils is the 5w30 flows a little better at cold temperatures than the 10w30. When the oils get up to operating temperature they are practically the same viscosity.
