Yes, if you are referring drinking alcohol. The first miracle Jesus performed was turning water into wine at a wedding feast in Cana. John 2:1-10 tells of of a marriage feast where they ran out of wine. The Bible account, at John 2:10, tells us that the director of the feast says of the wine that Jesus had made from water: "Every other man puts out the fine wine first, and when the people are intoxicated, the inferior. You have reserved the fine wine until now." There are some religious groups who believe that drinking alcohol is a sin, so they claim that Jesus only turned the water into Grape Juice. If Jesus had made grape juice, the director of the feast would not have said: You have reserved the fine wine until now." there are other Scriptures stating that wine can be beneficial. Psalm 104:15 tells us that wine make the heart of mortal man rejoice. At 2Timothy 5:23 the Apostle Paul tells Timothy to "use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and frequent cases of sicknesses". Jesus drank wine; his apostles drank wine, so drinking, in moderation, is acceptable. Getting drunk is the sin, (1Corinthians 6:10) so self-control is necessary.
