Yes. A Supreme Court Justice may be impeached by the House of Representatives and removed from office if convicted in a Senate trial, but only for the same types of offenses that would trigger impeachment proceedings for any other government official under Articles I and II of the Constitution.
I am pretty sure only the President can appoint justices to the supreme court. I also believe he is the only one who can fire them or grant them permision to quite.
The President nominates Supreme Court justices, and Congress then has the option of either confirming or rejecting those nominees.
No. The president does and congress approves.

The House of Representatives can impeach the President. The Senate conducts the trial and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court presides for the President.

Congress (judicial AND legislative branches) are denied the power to impeach, that is the right of the Supreme Court
The President submits his choice to be a Supreme Court Justice for approval to the Congress. If the Congress does not vote for approval, (and there have been times when they voted against the President's choices), the person does not become a Supreme Court Justice and the President has to select someone else and have that person voted for by the Congress.
In reality, the Supreme Court has a much more influential check over Congress (Judicial Review). But, I will list a few checks that the legislature has over the judiciary. 1) Congress can impeach Supreme Court Justices. If a justice takes too much liberty in judicial policymaking or more blatantly abuses his or her power, the House can impeach said justice, and the Senate will hear the trial and can remove the justice with a 2/3 vote. It is the same procedure for a presidential impeachment. 2) Supreme Court nominees must be approved by the Senate. 3) In exceedingly rare cases, Congress can pass amendments to the Constitution. Through judicial review, the Court can deem any law null and void if it conflicts with the Constitution. However, the Court cannot do so to an amendment, since, incidentally, it is now part of the Constitution itself. 4) Finally, Congress has influence over the Court's jurisdiction. Therefore, Congress can prevent a case from being heard in the Court. This circumvention is rare. --Charlie G.
The President has the sole power to nominate a candidate for a position as a US Supreme Court Justice. The candidate is examined by the Senate and, if approved, his or her appointment is made for life.
