Yes, they can but most GPs would suggest you don't as L-tyrosine has a similar effect on boosting serotonin & norepherine. Seek medical advice before proceeding!

Vitamin b12, Tyrosine, and L-dopa will boost energy levels.
I am very interested to know the answer to this as well! Let me recap my recent experience, as I have a feeling it has a lot to do with stopping the supplement. I was taking L-Tyrosine supplements alone with my Adderall medication, which helps with comedowns from my perscription, etc. I stopped my L-Tyrosine suddenly for the simple reason of running out and not ordering a new bottle for a little while. Not too long after, I started to develop VERY stiff fingers in the mornings and upon quite a bit of research, and ruling out Arthritis, dehydration, etc, I found that Hypothyroidism can actually cause this symptom. From what I think, going from a certain amount of L-Tyrosine which supports Thyroid function, to nothing at all, I am wondering if the effects were almost a 'self induced Hypothyroidism'. I am not 100% sure, but I am going to test the theory by starting back on the L-Tyrosine to see if my condition improves. It makes much sense, though, that stopping really anything that your body gets used to will cause some sort of side effects. Even people who quit smoking! It is likely best to reduce your intake slowly so you don't shock your body.
Dopamine functions as a neurotransmitter activating dopamine receptors, and is essential to the normal functioning of the central nervous system. Dopamine has many functions, the most important being the central reward system (mesolimbic brain) and in controlling and coordinating movement. It is produced from L-tyrosine, a non-essential amino acid, which is converted into L-DOPA by the enzyme tyrosine hydroxylase. L-DOPA is then converted to dopamine by the enzyme DOPA decarboxylase. L-DOPA is the precursor to dopamine and is given as medication to people suffering from diseases such as Parkinson's Disease because, unlike dopamine, L-DOPA is more fat-soluble, and, as such, can cross the blood-brain barrier.
Rem and L arent chained together, Light and L are. Those two are chained together because L suspects Light is Kira, and He wants to keep a watch on him.
0.2 L
L-lysine is best taken as a single supplement and not in combination with other amino acids.
