Yes. Budgerigars are native to Australia, although they are domesticated around the world. Their natural habitat is semi-arid regions, grasslands, bushland and scrub. Budgies are found across almost all of Australia, apart from the coastal regions.
Yes. Budgies are native to Australia alone.
English and Australian budgies can go along fine if they have enough food, water and space.
it is the Australian budgie which is the biggest of the budgies but i do not know how big it can grow to but it is pretty big
This question is a matter of opinion. Some people like English budgies better than regular budgies or other people like regular budgies better than English budgies.
budgies The real name for parakeets is budgerigar; budgies for short. Budgerigar is Australian because the birds originally came from Australia.
Budgies come in many different mutation and sizes. But they are all the same species, Melopsittacus undulatus. But we separate these budgies into three different groups, The wild budgie (which is much smaller than our domesticated pets), The Australian budgie (which amazingly is sometimes called the American, I have no idea why) and the English or Show budgie. The most common budgie we keep as pets is the Australian budgie. These are the ones you see in ..pet shops (please do not support pet shops!). All wild budgies are yellow-based normals. All other mutations have been bred by humans.

Nope. They're similar, but budgerigars (often called parakeets in the US) and lovebirds are actually different birds. Budgies tend to be slightly bigger and often have stripes. Most lovebird species have a more pronounced beak than that of the budgies, as well. The coloration is different, as well. Do some image searches for lovebirds and budgies to see the difference.
