I can't see why not. I would check with your state or city about their adoption laws. You could ask somebody from a adoption agency in your town about the laws.
The only way you can adopt a child is that you have no child of your own at all. I have 2 girls of my own and live in america. my husband wanted to adopt a child in Iran. You also need to have a house or a land under the child's name in order to adopt a child.
Depending on the state 18 or 21.
You negotiate with the father. He has to give written permission for adoption. He is not required under any circumstances at all to let anybody else adopt his child.
Under most circumstances, the father must grant permission.
They are under 6 months old.
Yes
'Signing over their rights to a child' sounds like adoption here. Most states have laws set about who can adopt. Usually people over the age of 25 and / or married couples. Not to say that you cannot adopt under the age of 25, but I do believe that you must be at least 18 to adopt a child in some states. Minors under the age of 18 are not considered adults, and therefore cannot adopt children.
I don't think you can adopt a child..... But sometimes a little messege will pop up on your screen and say that there is a little kid that knocked on your door and you can adopt it into your familey on not. Maybe you will get lucky and it will happen to you to! It already happened to me 2 times!!
he would carry no responsibility for the child, even after a divorce.
If he married the mother of a the child and he's under age he will sponsor the child too. If not he can legally try to adopt the child good luck
Same-sex marriage is not recognized under Nebraska law. It is unclear whether a same-sex couple may jointly adopt a child. A same-sex partner is NOT permitted to adopt the other's child and it is unclear whether single gay persons are permitted to adopt children.
Same-sex marriage is not legal under Mississippi law and same-sex couples are not permitted to jointly adopt children. It is unclear whether a same-sex partner can adopt the other's child. Single gay persons are permitted to adopt children in Mississippi.
