Try going to www.verizonwireless.com and create an account using the 10 digit phone number assigned to you by them. Once the account is created you can log in to check your balance with them. You can also dial #225 from your Verizon phone and it will tell you the balance over the phone. There may be a charge for dialing #225 so be aware of that.
