Yes. You are driving so you are responsible.
Because the car's in your registration its your fault if the person's driving it dont have their license and they get pulled over not only would your insurance go up your car might get impounded.
If the vehicle has insurance it will cover damage to the other vehicle but not the one you are driving. Now if you have insurance on another vehicle your insurance will cover the damage to the vehicle that you where driving even though it is not on your policy.
yes, but dont be stupid. i got screwed by helping out my then girlfriend. it doesnt matter who owns that car, as long as there is insurance on it. Names do not matter. however make sure the person driving the vehicle is on the insurance policy as a driver
If you have car insurance ,police will never stop you even if you dont have driving license.
NO! Buy your own insurance! Or get him to!
he can get fined.... we still dont know if he did yet thyre undecided about that.... but yeah
That will depend on where you live. In Alberta we have private insurance companies and no it is not a part of our job to notify motor vehicles if your policy is cancelled or lapsed. You do need the pink card to renew your registration though.
Some police will be nice and give you 24-48 hours to go home and get it and brinf it to the station. But they dont have to give you anything.. they can just charge you for driving without insurance. you can prove it to be untrue of coarse but its a pain
Sure, if you just want to buy it but not drive it. Oh yes and if you have enough cash to pay for it without financing any of the purchase price. This is because most states require you to have insurance to drive or get a tag and if you finance the purchase you will have to purchase insurance as part of your finance contract.
there are certain reasons behind the costly car insurance for the young driver 1.the main reason is the less experience of driving, young drivers do not have more experiences of driving the car properly, there are lot of chances for the accidents by the young drivers 2.young driver do not have a good driving record ,,they dont find time to get good driving record 3.insurance company can give insurance on the past record of driving,if person is young and don't have good experienced past driving records,,
Most insurance companies will allow that, for the ones that dont, simply add your name to the registration and then they would have to do it .
It depends on the insurance company. Progressive dings you for it. I just dont understand why they would. If your violation is no insurance then how does that reflect your driving habits. The sheer fact of having insurance negates that type of moving violation.
