Yes as a green card holder you can return to US with your green card and passport provided your trip abroad was for less than 180 days. In case you were to stay outside US for more than a year you would require a reentry permit to return to US at POE. This you should have applied for using Immigration Form I-131, travel document before leaving US. This reentry permit is valid for a period of two years.
