I was informed by a BMW dealer there isn't a battery to replace and you have to order a new remote and then have it programmed by the dealer.
I am being quoted a price of $1,300 to replace the Catalytic converter on my 2004 Toyota Highlander. This quote comes from a dealer located in Central Ohio.
The Highlander is - unsure about the Corolla. Have you tried calling a dealer and asking?
Go to an authorized Honda dealer.

You should just be able to unscrew the back of the key. if not the dealer has a tool to take them apart.
