Hi, I don't know what kind of Baikal you're talking about. I bought a Baikal side by side and it came with choke tubes. Later, by reading the manual, I found out that I could not shoot steel through the tubes that came with the gun. I have to order special tubes if I want to shoot steel. Both Baikals I have owned proved to be a bad investment - both malfunctioned bigtime right out of the box. In my opinion Junk. Scheels in Sioux Falls have quit handeling Baikals because of such a high complaint and return rate. Good hunting.
Only with cylinder and improved cylinder choke tubes.
Depends on when it was made.
If you're trying to shoot through steel, then that'll depend on the thickness and density of the steel, as well as what you're shooting it with. For regular steel targets which you're not trying to shoot through, you typically use regular FMJ ball ammunition, and only fire loads recommended by the manufacturer for the specific target.
with the wingmaster barrel you can only shoot lead, but if you change the barrel to a slugster you can shoot slugs and buckshot, they also have a barrel for steel shot to.
Not recommended
Only if it is rated for steel shot. If you aren't sure, contact Briley.
Yes. I duck hunt and my primary gun is an 835 Ulti-Mag. It is perfectly suitable to shoot steel through the 835, but make sure that your choke tube is suitable to do so. Yes.
