No. You can fire .38 Special (and .38 Special +P) in any .357 Magnum firearm, not .38 Auto. Do not attempt the reverse (firing .357 Magnum in a .38 Special firearm); the results will be disastrous.
The .38 Auto does not have a rim large enough to hold it in a revolver's chamber, and the bullet is most likely not the correct diameter.
No, the only .357 auto is a Sig. Different shaped chamber.
Only the Coonan Arms .357 and .357 models of the Desert Eagle can do this.
no
No - they are very different cartridges.
Yes it can. I do not think you will exceed the .357 pressures with .38 +P.
No. .357 Sig and 9mm are two completely different calibers and not interchageable.
Yes.
Your gun is a 357 and can shoot both 357 ammo and 38 special ammo. The nice thing about these guns is you can practice at the range with 38S bullets, which are much cheaper, and save the 357 ammo for home defense.
Yes. Your revolver will fire either one.
Any .38 ammo can be safly fired in a .357. +P .38 loads do not exceed .357 pressures.
Yes.
Yes,a model 27 N frame revolver can handle +p ammo.I would advise you though that steady use of +p ammo will hasten the revolver becoming loose over time.Much quicker than if you used standard .357 Magnum loads.
