Oh my, K-Y Jelly put in the mouth would taste very yuckky and even gritty! For treating dry mouth, look in a drugstore for a product called Biotene. It comes in liquid or spray bottle. It replenishes saliva and reduces oral bacteria. Also, sucking on hard candy can increase saliva production.

No, KY Jelly cannot be used for dry mouth as KY Jelly is a personal lubricant not for use inside the mouth. KY Jelly would not taste nice and would just be swallowed rather than keeping mouth from feeling dry.
