Yes but, no at the same time. Only certain PS3's can have PS2 games played on them. The down side to that is you cannot save the game on the PS3. If you do not have the right PS3 for it, it could brake the system. How to know when it brakes, the system should shut off and the PS2 game will be stuck inside the PS3.

∙ 15y agoNo. PS3 games are written on a blueray disc, while the PS2 can only read DVDs. It's like trying to put an N64 game in your computer. It won't work because the computer can't read the data on it.
