hmm.... only ur Venusaur can't help u beat the Elite four...u need to train all other poke'mon until they are equally strong.Best thing you can do is,go to the vermilion Pokemon center and talk to the girl and get the Vs. seeker.When you get this go near the trainers who battle and use this.They will agree to battle you once more... Train this way and You will have tough Pokemon.I defeated the Elite Four for the second time with only 5 Pokemon.My Team consisted of Venusaur Lvl 75(Synthesis,Frenzy Plant,Razor Leaf,Solar Beam),Mewtwo Lvl 70(Swift,Recover,Shadow Ball,Psycic),Moltres Lvl 69(Fly,Safeguard,Flamethrower,Fire Spin),Magneton Lvl 80(Spark,Lock On,Zap Cannon,Tri Attack),Lapras Lvl 71(Surf,Thunder Bolt,Ice Beam,Hydro Pump) and use Exp. The Pokemon you face in the Pokemon league are all level 50 - 63 (first time only, then the minimum becomes 63). Your Venusaur may last the first round, but if it ever faints, you won't survive for very long. I suggest you raise your Pokemon to level 45 at least.

Actually, get rid of one or two of your Fire-types as they're not really useful against the types in the Pokemon League. Add a Water-type and maybe a Flying-type Pokemon at a higher level and then you're well prepared for the Pokemon League.

dude your venasaur is good but i catch the legendary birds and choose squirtle as my starter . also you cant catch mewtwo until after you get the ruby and Sapphire gems. also what move does your Venusaur know
