she may have an infection...
Yes it can to relieve the itching!! Apply 2 times a day on the infected area! Do not contaminate the cream, by putting the cream onto the affected area and using the same finger to get more cream, this will contaminate the cream! Fluocinolone acetonide is a corticosteroid primarily used in dermatology to reduce skin inflammation and relieve itching. It is a synthetic hydrocortisone derivative.
to make sure there is no infection
ANSWER Make sure the area is clean and DRY. If you don't have disposable rubber gloves, wash your hands well. Apply a SMALL amount to the tip of your finger and spread a very thin layer of the ointment on the affected area. Be sure to cover the entire area with a thin layer. Then follow the directions on the tube for how often to use it. Frequent THIN layers are better than putting it on too thick.......ONE LAST little trick...put the tube in your pocket for about 20 mins. before applying! This warms the ointment to body temp and makes spreading it on much easier, and more comfortable!! HAPPY HEALING!
Finger pain can be caused by injury, infection, diseases, arthritis, or even Reynaud's syndrome. Have a doctor evaluate the condition for possible treatment options.
Possibly, mabey, mabey not
We need to amputate the leg before the infection spreads. The surgeon begins to amputate the finger.
See your doctor. The infection could lead to blood poisoning (septicaemia) if ignored.
I had a biopsy of a cyst on my index finger and I was told to use polysporin ointment twice a day to keep it moist. I dont have the polysporing instead i have the neosporin spray. If i use the neosporin spray instead will that do the job or will it hurt or damage the area? thanks for your help. Geraldine
This depends on the type of infection if it is a general infection from say a cut on your finger then white blood cells will go to the infected zone to fight the infection. If they die while fighting this infection then puss will form. some infections can kill you others are mild.
