The jobs a 10 year old can have are: baby sitting lemonade stand lawn mowing weed picking flower planting and pet sitting. Put make sure your charge is less that £20 (unless it is for a couple of days)
I would strongly advise against any minor "starting" pet sitting. For more information on "why" or to find a quality pet sitter please see the related link Edit: To be perfectly honest - you'd have a very hard task finding an insurance company to provide cover for a 10-year-old to carry out any job - not just pet-sitting. What happens if something goes wrong with the animal while in your care ?

If you pet ages naturally, it will take about 10 months. FooPets uses real time. You can also pay 20 FooDollars to make your pet a year old. If you choose to age your pet with FooDollars your pet will become one year old immediately.

Baby-sitting is really good. Pet-sitting is good too. Charge baby-sitting $5 for one to two people and $7 for three or more people. Pet-sitting would be about $10 a day. I am starting a "lemonade" stand that will start with lemonade and every time I have enough money I get more machines and food until it becomes a fabulous concession stand. You could choose the prices, but wisely.

It depends on the pet and how many you have, from $10 to $25 a day would be appropriate for one.
