Im 14 too. Im talking to a 21 yr old. Kids our age are so iimature its not even funny. Its probly illegal for 14s year old to talk to older 18 guys. But Wat the heck ! I say just be careful. I like this arbitrary number set by the previous answerer. If both parties are willing, and the 14 year old's parents approve, there's no reason to prohibit dating, though sexual relations are out of the question for another 4 years.

Not legally in the U.S. because there can not be more than a four year age difference in people underage.

That is too large of an age difference. When you are both older than 20, then five years apart is fine.
