The "age of majority" (or the age when the child can make that decision on their own without court intervention) is 18 in Arkansas.
However, almost all states, Arkansas included, allow the child, a parent, guardian ad litem or attorney acting on their behalf, to write to the judge and/or petition the court for modification of the original custody agreement. The child's wishes will be taken into consideration and the older they are, the more weight will be assigned to them. But ultimately, it is the court's responsibility to decide what is in the best interests of the child, even though the child may not agree with that decision.
No. The court will decide.
A minor can not choose where to live. That is up to the parents or the court depending on the details. If your non-custodial parent who lives out of state wants you to live with him/her, they have to petition for custody unless your custodial parent will consent to the change and join in a modification of the custody order.

No, see link
Only if his or her parent(s) or primary custodial parent agrees to the living arrangements.
The most likely scenario is that the children will live with the other parent as long as that parent was not deemed unfit while the custodial parent was alive. If that parent was denied custody for cause the courts may consider another gaurdian should the non custodial parent still be considered unsuitable.

Until you turn 18, your custodial parent has the right to determine where you live. If you move in with the non-custodial parent without permission from the custodial parent, then they can call the police and have you picked up and brought back home. The non-custodial parent could be charged with 'interference with custody' and possible other charges as well. The non-custodial parent can petition the court for a change of custody. At your age, you would be allowed to state where you would like to live. The judge will take your wishes--along with many other things--into consideration when making the final decision.
I'm in KCMO. and the answer is no. See related link.
When they no longer is a child by law, age 18.
Once you are 14 years of age you can choose if you want to live with your mother or your father. you have to talk to a judge about it so they can make it legal for you to move in with your other parent and make it so they have costody over you. ~Erica~ Minors are not allowed to choose with whom they wish to live, this includes parents, grandparents and other relatives. In cases of parental custodianship the court usually does not intervene when a minor moves from the custodial parent's home to the non custodial parent's home until (unless) the custodial parent files a request to have the minor returned to the primary residence. The matter can become very involved especially if there is a child support order in place pertaining to the non custodial parent. If this is the case said parent cannot cease paying child support without the risk of being in contempt of a court order and thereby incurring futher legal difficulties.
