Well, they would have to have failed a year of school at least twice to still be in middle school at age 16, since 8th grade is the highest grade in middle school and 16 year olds are supposed to be in 10th or 11th grade.

∙ 13y agoI think you should go to school and hold your head high. If kids tease you just ignore them. You have other people to fall back on. And, if all else fails, you could become homeschooled.
if the bullying gets to bad tell a teacher or head of year also tell your parents and they can sort it out those who buly you are just jellouse you are happy and they are sad! keep your head held high and you will be fine. trust me you will be fine.

∙ 12y agoYes you can, it's optional but it's best if you go because you still need education even if you're carrying a baby around.
You can go off school for a while after giving birth to your child but you still need to catch up in your education.

∙ 12y agoOf Course You can still go to school! I remember when I was in middle School one of my close friends got pregnet. She was ttransfered to one of those disaplineary schools until her abortion.

It is not really normal. Sixteen is driving and in high school. Fourteen may still be in middle school. And any sexual contact could be illegal.
