Unfortunatley, You are not able to legally leave home until the age of 18. One minor alternative that might get you what you want might be at age 17, you are legally tried as an adult. If you are truly ready for the next step in becoming independent, then you might be able to fight for an emancipation. An emancipation is when you go to court of law, or straight to a judge and convince him/her that you are physically capable, emotionally capabel, and that you have a plan for your own support. So, in a more clear sense, you need to be able to carry yourself, without a guardian/parent, because when you leave and become emancipated, you're emancipated until you commit a crime or become charged with an offense.
