Yes, once you are 17 you may get an emancipation from your parents or basically divorce your parents. Now mind you that even though you may want to move out and you say there is no food in the house, make sure you have a stable job. Also a stable job isn't enough; additionally you need a place to live and proof of a stable environment and house. Don't jump into things, especially if you still attend school. Just work it out until you get out of school and you will be able to make sure you have a stable mind and your life together. You need your parents and should try and work things out. Let them know about things. Converse with one another to solve problems, out of court.
